Job Opportunity: Road Services Team Lead
Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced team leader to oversee the Road Services Team, ensuring efficient planning and coordination of maintenance and construction crews.
Main Responsibilities:- Craft and implement strategies for the effective delivery of the Road Preventative Maintenance program, including grading and patrol activities.
- Streamline inspections and response times for the local road network in accordance with customer request systems and road management plans.
- Coordinate and direct Roads staff involved in operations related to the Road Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Collaborate as a key team member of the Infrastructure and Delivery Department, identifying efficiency improvements and enhancing service quality.
- Contribute to budget estimates for annual road preventative maintenance programs and recommendations for capital improvement programs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A trade equivalent qualification in Civil Construction, combined with significant relevant experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of Road Management Plans and associated policies and procedures.
- Previous experience managing teams and prioritizing tasks under pressure.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- A current Victorian Driver Licence or state equivalent.
This role offers a competitive salary range of A$92,000 per annum, plus statutory superannuation benefits.
