About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Specialist Mental Health Professional in our team, delivering high-quality psychological services to vulnerable children and families.

As part of the Psychological and Specialist Services unit, you will be working in an evidence-based trauma service under the guidance of experienced clinical supervisors. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of highly vulnerable children and families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert psychological assessments, interventions, and other professional services to our clients, including children, young people, families, and carers.
  • You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing holistic and culturally informed best practice interventions for young people living in Out of Home Care.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification in Psychology recognized by the Psychology Board of Australia, with either Full registration as a Psychologist or Provisional registration with the ability to fulfill full registration within the required timeframe.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic frameworks for child abuse, neglect, and trauma.
  • A current driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
