We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team in the Extended Hours Program at C&K Childcare & Kindergarten. As an Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for children aged 0-6 years.

About the Role

This permanent part-time position involves working from 1:35 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours during school holidays. You will be responsible for guiding children's learning and development, promoting their physical, social, and emotional growth, and collaborating with your team to create a positive and inclusive environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment that promotes children's health and well-being
  • Fostering strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team culture
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards this qualification
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
  • A valid Blue Card or Exemption Card
  • A current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
