Role Summary:

Estimator/Project Coordinator role with a creative team based in Surry Hills, NSW. The ideal candidate will have a background in interior design, architecture, or a related field, and enjoy both numbers and design.

This is a full-time position that involves pricing, project scoping, contract administration, and liaising with clients, builders, and suppliers. Full training and handover of current projects will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpreting plans, specs, and tender documents to define project scope
  • Preparing accurate quotes for film and wall covering installations
  • Liaising with builders, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing and confirm details
  • Negotiating contract terms and variations within company guidelines
  • Managing contracts from start to finish
  • Generating invoices and progress claims
  • Collaborating closely with the team and maintaining strong relationships with clients and builders

Requirements:

  • Degree or Graduate Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Word, and design software
  • Sharp attention to detail and accuracy with quoting and calculations
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • A solid understanding of interiors and the built environment
