Clinical Therapist or Mental Health Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to provide evidence-based therapies for individuals experiencing eating disorders and weight and shape concerns.
The ideal candidate will have significant interest, training, and experience in providing therapy for people experiencing eating disorders and disordered eating, as well as a commitment to social justice perspectives that respect diversity and value inclusion.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality psychological services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct regular clinical supervision and case management meetings
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay current on best practices and research in the field
Requirements:
- Registration as a Psychologist with the relevant authority
- Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Psychology
- Experience working with individuals with eating disorders and disordered eating
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to social justice perspectives and inclusive practice
