Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist Transition Role

South West Healthcare is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Transition program. This role offers a supportive environment for professional development and excellence.

This program provides the opportunity for you to consolidate and apply theoretical knowledge by developing skills in a variety of clinical rotations through our Mental Health teams.

This transition role is a supernumerary position within our mental health services with dedicated study time and access to our Mental Health Occupational Therapy Educator.

Key Features
  • Full Time, 12-month fixed term position
  • 80hrs per fortnight with monthly ADO
  • Warrnambool Campus
  • Occupational Therapist Grade 2

Requirements

The successful applicant will bring at least 2 years of professional experience in a sector other than mental health. Transitioning Occupational Therapists employed into these positions will bring discipline-specific skills into the sector as well as valuable diversity of experience that will benefit the mental health and wellbeing workforce.
