The Bairnsdale Depot Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the depot, ensuring successful service outcomes are achieved within budget and to Dyson standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Demonstrate positive and professional leadership and behaviours in line with Dyson culture and values, manage staff performance through reward and recognition, and address poor performance through feedback and counselling.
- Operational Management: Anticipate potential problems and issues, implement solutions to ensure a positive outcome, and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders internal and external.
- Compliance and Safety: Manage all depot staff compliance, including licences and qualifications, sign off of relevant payroll information in an accurate and timely way, and actively manage safety issues to ensure timely corrective action is taken.
- Community Engagement: Build a positive profile for Dysons within the local community, continue strong relationships with the existing customer base, and identify new business opportunities within the area that complement the existing operation.
The ideal candidate will have successfully managed similar operational streams, demonstrated people management skills and strong operational knowledge, and possess exceptional leadership ability and communication skills.
Applicants must have solid computer skills and administration ability, be self-motivated and well organised, and be comfortable working to budget and planning ahead to achieve successful outcomes.
