Histopathology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Scientist to join our team in the Histopathology department at Ipswich Hospital.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily operations within the service and completing complex and routine Histopathology investigations.

The department handles a significant volume of requests per annum, including non-gynae cytology. The laboratory has full UKAS accreditation, and full training status granted by IBMS.

About the Role:

• This is a mid-senior level position, requiring significant experience in working within a Histology laboratory.

This job requires a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist with significant experience in Histology laboratories.

The successful candidate will have day-to-day management of the service, managing and coordinating activities of the team, processing specialist investigations, and ensuring standard and quality of results.
