About the Role

The Head of Brand Marketing (Subway Australia & New Zealand) plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and contribute to business growth.

This role leads a team of marketing professionals and is required to collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement initiatives that elevate the Subway brand in the marketplace.

The Head of Brand Marketing will be responsible for driving brand engagement through innovative and cohesive marketing efforts across various channels.

This role is pivotal in executing a comprehensive marketing calendar, overseeing all branded touchpoints, and ensuring a consistent brand identity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, with experience in developing and executing brand marketing strategies.

They will be a strategic thinker, with excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

The Head of Brand Marketing will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive brand marketing plans
  • Leading the creation and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns
  • Collaborating with product development teams to conceptualise and launch new menu offerings
  • Partnership & Sponsorship Management
  • Overseeing public relations initiatives and corporate communications efforts
  • Utilising market research, customer feedback, and data analytics to gain deep insights into consumer behavior
  • Developing audience segmentation strategies to tailor marketing efforts and messaging to specific target demographics
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of marketing initiatives
  • Managing and mentoring a team of marketing professionals
  • Overseeing budget allocation and resource planning

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, and 8-10 years of experience in a similar role within a retail/consumer environment.

They will have strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making and understanding customer behavior.

They will also have excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
