The role of an Allied Health Professional in Out of Home Care involves providing developmentally appropriate treatment to young people and their families within a well-supported, innovative, diverse multidisciplinary team.
This position requires the ability to work alongside team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new youth mental health services, undertake clinical services through case management, assessment, and individual therapies.
- Deliver high-quality services that cater to the unique needs of children and adolescents with mental health challenges.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for young people and their families.
Applicants should possess a passion for delivering person-centred care and have experience working within a multidisciplinary environment.
A minimum of 3 years current post-graduate experience in child, adolescent and/or youth mental health is desirable. Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times.
A tertiary qualification/program of study in an allied health field is required along with registration with the relevant National Board.
