Job Description

Osborne Richardson specialises in public sector recruitment. Our IT division is headed up by an experienced IT project manager, ensuring that delivery and solutions align with established team and organisational standards.

This role will support an award-winning and critical digital product known for providing 'an easy, trusted way to find information and manage strata matters for everyone living in NSW.'

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee technical project delivery, ensuring that delivery and solutions align with established team and organisational standards, project timelines, strategic and financial objectives.
  • Coordinate management of delivery resources within an Agile team, including product managers/owners, designers, architects, engineers, business analysts, testers, content and communication specialists, and adjacent SMEs.
  • Hold Agile ceremonies, establish, and support cadence.
  • Ensure releases are planned and estimated, backlogs are groomed, stories and defects are appropriately recorded, workflow is updated, and enabling artefacts are completed in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Monitor and report on delivery progress, risks/issues, and identify opportunities for innovation or improvement.
  • Develop or support senior colleagues to maintain project plans, roadmaps, and budgets.
  • Help embed a highly effective product team culture, with a continuous improvement focus.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A strong technical background in software development and a track record of delivering digital projects in the context of multi-functional teams are essential.

Expertise in use of Agile delivery software, including JIRA, is required.

Agile (e.g. Scrum) cadence, ceremonies, artefacts, and interactions must be well understood.

Excellent communication skills to analyse, document, and convey technical information to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders are necessary.

Experience in project governance, reporting, budgeting, resourcing, and increment planning is preferred.
