Overview
The Digital Product Manager is responsible for managing product lifecycles from customer discovery to product delivery. The Digital Product Manager defines and supports the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products across a diverse catalogue of digital assets through understanding the customer needs, the product, and the overall market.
**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
Strategic Focus
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle of digital products
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients to influence and manage expectations.
- Facilitate workshops to define product requirements and scope
- Drive the digital product backlog, managing prioritisation, quality, execution, and outcomes.
- Provide input to and maintain digital product roadmaps.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitors
Operational Management
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to showcase products, and identify business problems and product opportunities.
- Collaborate with analysts, designers, and developers to design high quality experiences and features.
- Identify and capture success metrics that can be used to track, analyse and improve the performance and experience of digital products
- Present product concepts and designs to build and delivery teams for estimations and work closely with them through development and implementation.
- Create, maintain, and update product information & collateral to support internal and external stakeholders
- Undertake user testing and market research to inform product development
- Continuously review, identity and manage lifecycle enhancements for products
- Communicates value of new features to stakeholders and customers
- Requirement gathering and documentation
- Represent RSS Product in internal and client forums as required
**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Min 2 years previous Digital product management experience ideally in financial services
- A practical and consultative approach to problem solving, focussing on human centred design and user experience.
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Well developed written and oral communication skills
- Strong customer focus
- A passion for product and delivering outcomes that drive value to clients and stakeholders
