Linfox's Intermodal business unit is seeking a skilled Logistics Driver to join their team in North Queensland. This ongoing opportunity involves Monday to Friday shifts, starting at 5:00 am and concluding at 1:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety First: Participate in and commit to Safety Standards, ensuring a secure work environment for yourself and others.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily prestart checks, including fuelling and maintaining of the truck, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors, and customers as needed, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment.
  • Loading and Restraint: Ensure that loads are restrained appropriately, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete run sheets and ensure the collection of all critical documents, maintaining accurate records and reports.
Requirements
  • HR License: Possess a valid HR license, essential for the role.
  • Forklift License: Hold a forklift license, desirable for this position.
  • Manual Handling Experience: Have experience in responsible manual handling, ensuring safe and efficient handling of goods.
  • Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills, providing excellent service to customers and colleagues alike.
  • Proactive Approach: Possess a proactive approach and positive attitude, driving success and growth in the role.
