
Psychological Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our multidisciplinary team, providing specialist psychological recovery and rehabilitation services to workers/employees with psychological illness or injuries.
- Provide expert psychological assessments of workers' strengths as well as their perceived obstacles to returning to work including relevant psychometric and vocational inventory testing and result interpretation.
- Leverage new evidence-based practices to increase successful return to work outcomes and understand stakeholder needs and circumstances without bias, low expectations, or implied judgements.
- Establish innovative interventions such as forming a rehabilitation alliance, motivational interviewing for resolving ambivalence, assessing jobs and workplaces, reviewing and redesigning job demands, mediation, and measuring productivity.
- Manage a caseload of workers for whose outcomes you are primarily responsible.
- Provide discipline-specific services, i.e. psychological functional assessments, to other workers when appropriate.
- Collaborate within an experienced multidisciplinary team of professionals facilitating return to work across several contracts utilising psychological skills to maximise return to work goal attainments.
- Oversee and coordinate workers' health treatment to ensure it is evidence-based and supports timely return to work or better productivity.
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, with Provisional or General Registration with AHPRA
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Willingness to obtain or hold a National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance for client-facing roles
- Fully funded Primary & Secondary Supervision for Provisional Psychologists
