Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled medical professional to join our team as a Paediatric Intensive Care Registrar.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to provide medical care and receive training in intensive care medicine within a tertiary children's hospital.

The successful candidate will be exposed to the full range of subspecialties, including Neurointensive care, trauma & burns, cardiac intensive care and ECLS, liver transplant, and oncology and BMT.

Additionally, there will be opportunities to work with the Paediatric Retrieval Service (CHQRS) and participate in quality improvement projects and research projects with the Paediatric Critical Care Research Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients in the paediatric intensive care unit
  • Receive comprehensive training in intensive care medicine under the supervision of experienced medical professionals
  • Develop strong skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication
Requirements:
  • Completed medical degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Advanced life support certification (e.g. ACLS, PALS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
