Dedicated Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Job Title: Dedicated Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse
This is a dynamic role that requires the highest level of compassion, clinical expertise and emotional resilience.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care to neonates, including those with complex medical needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Utilize advanced life support equipment and medications to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families and healthcare providers using clear and concise language.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current RN licensure and certification in pediatrics or neonatology.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU or related setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mastery of Epic or other electronic health record systems.
- Experience with Pyxis medication system.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
- Proficiency in gastrointestinal feeding methods and tube management.
- Expertise in infection control measures and IV therapy.
