We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of Health Centre Coordinator or Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading clinical care in a respected Aboriginal community-controlled health service.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing staff allocation, patient flow, equipment checks, and team communication
- Supporting daily operations and ensuring continuity of culturally safe and responsive services
- Liaising with community stakeholders to drive quality improvement, workforce development, and culturally safe care
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:
- A Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner qualification
- Demonstrated experience working in remote or Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- Starting salary of $130,221 (Health Centre Coordinator) or $138,590 (Health Centre Manager)
- 25% availability allowance on top of base salary
- District allowance: $2,740 per annum
- Retention allowance of $10,000 after 2 years of continuous service
- Annual airfare subsidy of $1,285 after 12 months of service
- Accommodation provided while in the community
- Salary Packaging benefits of up to $15,900 tax-free each year
