">We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Service team as a Field Service Fitter based out of our Launceston branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostics, repair and maintenance services to our customer's equipment in the field.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenance
- Building and maintaining excellent rapport with our customer base
- Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork
- Conducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures
Requirements
">- Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic)
- OEM or earthmoving equipment experience highly regarded
- Current driver's license
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
