Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Agile Process Specialist to join our Project Management team in Brisbane CBD. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering IT infrastructure and systems development initiatives in the APAC region.

This is a 12-month contract with potential to extend, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization.

About the Role

The Agile Process Specialist will play a critical role in setting up Azure DevOps aligned to project context, running agile processes, and embedding Agile methodology into the way of working within Data Platforms group.

You will establish and facilitate group-level ceremonies, support Product Managers in establishing clear vision and roadmap, and align and collaborate with Hub team Scrum Masters to resolve impediments.

  • Set up Azure DevOps aligned to project context.
  • Run agile process aligned to the project including scrum meetings.
  • Embed Agile methodology into the way of working within Data Platforms group.
  • Establish and facilitate group level ceremonies.
  • Support Product Manager in establishing clear vision and roadmap.
  • Align and collaborate with Hub team Scrum Masters to resolve impediments.

In addition, you will manage risks and dependencies, foster Communities of Practice and engineering practices, create a visible system of work, improve flow of value by assessing practices associated with DevOps and Release on Demand, and support Agility health maturity assessment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Scrum Master Certifications.
  • Experience as an Agile Scrum Master or Solution Train Engineer.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to share new findings and Agile best practices.
  • Self-motivated team player.
  • Listen and support teams in problem identification.
  • Coach people with powerful questions.
  • Think beyond day-to-day activities; systems thinking.
  • Support teams' commitments.
