
Senior Agronomy Specialist

This role is a unique opportunity to leverage technical expertise and customer focus in agriculture. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with farmers and producers, providing agronomic and technical support, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Gain exposure to broadacre cropping and engage with a team to service the needs of cutting-edge farmers.
- Responsibility for increasing productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises through effective partnerships.
- Build long-term client relationships and develop a deep understanding of clients' business goals, sharing technical and market information to drive improvements.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and target new clients through superior sales and agronomic input.
- Stay up-to-date with latest plant production practices, running field days, and coordinating farmer meetings.
- Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application.
- A minimum 4-5 years experience building enduring partnerships, delivering agronomic advice, and executing sales outcomes using specialist knowledge.
- History of success in sales, negotiation, influencing, and communication.
- Tertiary qualification in agricultural science or related field and current driver's license required.
