About the Role
The Financial Controller will oversee the accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves analysing financial data, managing cash flow and tax compliance, and providing strategic recommendations to improve business performance. Additionally, the Financial Controller will lead the finance team and drive process improvements to support growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Oversee tax compliance, including income tax and FBT returns.
- Manage cash flow, accounts receivable/payable, and payroll functions.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to reduce costs and improve performance.
- Mentor and develop the finance team.
Requirements
- Be CPA or CA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior finance role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience managing full financial operations, including GL, AP, AR, billing, and payroll.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a finance team while driving process improvements.
