Job Summary:
A leading role in a Global Power company is available for a highly experienced Finance Director to join their team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of corporate finance, including accounting, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, financing, insurance, and financial planning & analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective and sustainable financial strategy and capital structuring of the business.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the highest standard of corporate governance, compliance, and internal control.
- Build a world-class finance function to enhance the organisation's capabilities through effective leadership, coaching, and personal growth of the team.
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Professionally qualified as a CA, CPA, CMA, or similar.
- 12+ years of experience and a background in having led a finance function ideally in a large multinational.
- Exposure to international companies with large complexity and offshore reporting lines.
- A high degree of integrity and driven by process improvement.
- Experience working across Renewable Energy, Power, or Utilities is highly desired.
