About The Role

We are seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead our credit and settlements function, driving optimal service and product delivery.

Key responsibilities will include leading and managing an integrated credit, settlements, and support function for all customers and products within the Asset Finance department.

Main Responsibilities
  • To lead and manage a team of professionals, ensuring seamless credit, settlement, and other processes operate according to agreed service levels, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Asset Finance Leadership Team to collectively deliver Asset Finance goals and objectives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Minimum 10 years of strategic, operational, and people leadership experience in a customer service and/or volume transaction processing function within financial services.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in consumer and commercial retail credit, including specialist lending.
  • Experience exercising delegated lending authority over $2 million and leading managers with similar authorities.
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory environments, including NCCP, RG209 Responsible Lending, and AML/CTF.
  • 5 years as a Responsible Manager.
  • A degree in Business, Accounting, or a relevant discipline.
  • Desirable: Experience working with regulators and the relevant regulatory environment, as well as credit risk scorecard management and automation of credit & settlement processes.
