About the Role:

The Senior Operations Manager Port Adelaide will lead a high-performing team to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our business in Port Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day activities of the operations team, driving productivity and performance improvement
  • Oversee the completion of all WH&S commitments, ensuring a safe working environment for employees
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Take charge of administrative duties and ad hoc requests, providing exceptional support to the team
  • Proactively review and implement process improvement initiatives as necessary

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • A process driven approach to work, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills and people management experience, able to motivate and guide a team
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage while overseeing a team, with a strong sense of accountability
  • 5S & Six Sigma training (desirable), with a passion for implementing lean principles
  • Tech savvy and exposure to Safety Systems & SAP (desirable), with a willingness to learn and adapt
