This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Education Futures Institute in Queensland's education strategy. The institute is a key initiative in the department's vision, aiming to empower staff and educators with high-quality capability development across their careers.
The Capability Branch plays a crucial role in delivering targeted capability programs for school and corporate staff. As a Professional Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality programs that meet the needs of our diverse workforce.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver capability programs for school support and corporate staff.
- Coordinate and manage capability programs, including procurement and project milestones.
- Develop resources and materials associated with capability programs.
- Provide high-quality advice and briefs to stakeholders.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to develop coordinated implementation strategies.
You will report to the Manager, School Support and Corporate Capability, Brisbane CBD.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates:
- An understanding of the department's vision and strategic directions.
- High-level written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing demands.
- Enjoyment working with a diverse team to deliver outcomes and make a positive impact in education.
