Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Export Inspector to join our dynamic team in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that samples are sent to the appropriate laboratory and completing accurate reports in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure that samples are sent to the relevant laboratory as required.
  • Complete accurate reports in a timely manner to meet customer requirements.
  • Communicate with customers to initiate or carry out their needs.
  • Carry out all activities in a safety-conscious manner to ensure compliance with all relevant requirements.
  • Maintain and develop skills and qualifications needed to perform the role.
  • Identify services we can provide to clients.
  • Identify potential business opportunities to management.
  • Conduct inspections related to agricultural commodity exports and domestic trade.
  • Inspect export commodities in line with Trade Assurance Services contracts with overseas governments.

Requirements

  • PREFERRED knowledge/experience within the agricultural services sector and/or export market.
  • Current driver's license.
  • General site safety awareness and training.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication skills to all internal and external customers.
  • Australian Government Authorised Officer PGG3001 & BVI3001 accreditation (desired).
