$74,000 per annum plus, depending on skills and experience

Vacant Role/s: Meat Inspector / AAO (Full-Time)

Meat Safety Australia P/L is an Australian Government Approved Independent Quality Inspection Company. We are privately owned and our offices are located in the Metro area and South West of Western Australia. Our highly experienced Meat Industry team work closely with our clients and Government to provide unique market access for Export markets through our specialised independent meat inspection service.

We are currently looking for experienced Meat Inspectors to join our team.

Skills Required:

Certificate 3 in Meat Processing (Meat Safety) or Certificate 4 in Meat Processing (Meat Safety) / or be eligible to enrol into a Cert 4 Training program.

Must have a current driver's license.

Be able to work within a team or individual environment with reporting protocols.

Always act in a professional, ethical manner in performing AAO duties.

Must have a thorough understanding of Food Safety and Quality Assurance procedures

AAO Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct post mortem inspection of animals (under AEMIS guidelines)

Perform additional duties when required

Act in accordance with the AAO Deed of Obligation

Perform all work in accordance to WHS & Legislative requirements
