Skilled Maintenance Technician Wanted

We are looking for an experienced and skilled maintenance technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on our machinery and equipment, as well as providing technical support to the maintenance and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide technical support to the maintenance and production teams as needed.
  • Conduct troubleshooting analysis and assist with breakdowns as required.
  • Read and understand mechanical and engineering drawings.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (Fitting/Machining) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience working with converting-type production lines in a FMCG environment.
  • Machining and basic welding experience.
  • Ability to work overtime hours as required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable and self-motivated individual with great work ethic.
  • Quick learner with a can-do attitude.
