About the Role:

As a Resident Community Development Coordinator, you will deliver exceptional student living experiences by combining your passion for community building with expertise in event management. Your goal is to create a welcoming environment that promotes resident engagement, wellbeing and connection while ensuring high-quality service standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute engaging programs that align with resident engagement goals and business objectives.
  • Lead inclusive events that reflect resident interests and build community. These events may include social, wellness, educational activities and other initiatives that promote resident wellbeing.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of casual team members, including rostering, training, supervising and tracking performance.
  • Support resident wellbeing through proactive engagement, incident follow-up and partnerships with local/university support services.
  • Build relationships with vendors, contractors and local businesses to enhance resident life and deliver value-added initiatives.
  • Manage event budgets, ensure compliance with policies and safety standards, and capture reporting on attendance, satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote events across digital and onsite channels, ensuring alignment with marketing and leasing objectives.
