As a Local Area Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of participant support. You will work directly with participants to help them achieve their goals and live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting participants through the NDIS journey, including assisting with scheme access, plan development, implementation of funded supports and plan reviews
  • Helping participants build confidence, independence and informal support networks
  • Ensuring timely, high-quality service delivery in line with performance targets
  • Building partnerships with local organisations, attending events and promoting inclusion through grassroots engagement

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting people with disability in community services, social work or similar settings
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS participant pathway and planning processes
  • Proven ability to manage caseloads and meet service delivery targets
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong community engagement and stakeholder relationship skills
