Job Title: Compassionate Healthcare Professional

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our growing team at Tahmoor Family Medical Practice. You will collaborate with physicians and other staff to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking vital signs and discussing symptoms with patients
  • Documenting health history, administering medications, and providing resources on managing medical issues at home
  • Providing quality care to diverse patient mix through immunisations, triage, wound management, chronic disease management, ECGs, and explaining procedures to patients
  • Assisting with care plans and shared health summaries
  • Coordinating treatment room activities, including stock control, sterilization, general maintenance, and care of medical instruments and equipment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in an accredited General Practice environment
  • A caring and collaborative approach to patient care
  • Sense of urgency, compassion, and professionalism
  • Proven multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skills
