Healthcare Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our team. You will collaborate with physicians and other staff to provide comprehensive care to patients. Your duties will include taking vital signs, discussing symptoms, documenting health history, administering medications, and providing resources and information on how to manage medical issues at home.

The chosen candidate will have extensive knowledge of various illnesses and injuries, as well as a compassionate and hard-working attitude. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing quality care to a diverse mix of patients
  • Immunisations and injections
  • Triage
  • Wound management
  • Chronic disease management
  • ECGs
  • Explaining procedures to patients and providing support and reassurance
  • Assisting with care plans and shared health summaries
  • Assisting with telehealth consultations
  • Assisting doctors with clinical procedures and maintaining clinical documentation
  • Coordinating treatment room activities: stock control, sterilization, general maintenance and care of medical instruments and equipment
  • Implementing and practicing infection control
Requirements
  • Current registration with the relevant health authority
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Working experience in an accredited General Practice setting
  • A caring and collaborative approach to patient care
  • Proven multi-tasking, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Use of electronic medical records systems preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of care plans and health assessments
Additional Requirements
  • Police Check
  • Registration with the relevant health authority
  • Working with Children clearance
  • First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Immunisation Record
  • Driving licence or photo ID
