Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of various illnesses and injuries, as well as a compassionate and hard-working attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administering immunisations and injections
  • Providing triage services
  • Managing wounds
  • Coordinating chronic disease management
  • Performing ECGs
  • Explaining procedures to patients and providing support and reassurance
  • Assisting with care plans and shared health summaries
  • Participating in telehealth consultations
  • Supporting doctors with clinical procedures and maintaining clinical documentation
  • Coordinating the treatment room: stock control, sterilization, general maintenance and care of medical instruments and equipment
  • Implementing and practicing infection control
  • Supporting Reception and Practice Management duties
Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in an accredited General Practice environment
  • A caring and collaborative approach to patient care
  • A sense of urgency, compassion, and professionalism
  • Proven multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skills
Additional Requirements:
  • Current Police Check
  • Current Working with Children clearance
  • Current First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Immunisation Record
  • Driving licence or photo ID
