Job Overview

The Civil Maintenance Trainee is responsible for performing operational activities associated with preventative and responsive civil maintenance works, whilst undertaking Certificate III Water Industry Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within a small work team undertaking preventative and responsive civil maintenance activities.
  • Take personal accountability over safety and contribute to a proactive safety culture within the team.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and complete details required for CHW Works Management Systems.
  • Ensure customer needs are considered during maintenance works and disruption is kept to a minimum.
  • Keep customers informed about the progress of works and present an effective liaison between CHW and its customers.
