Behaviour Support Leader Position

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team as a Behaviour Support Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals with disabilities, promoting positive behaviour and enhancing their overall quality of life.
In this role, you will lead a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners in delivering high-quality services to NDIS participants. You will be responsible for guiding and coaching practitioners, reviewing behaviour support plans, and monitoring team goals and objectives.
This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of good clinical practice. You will also need to have experience mentoring behaviour support practitioners and peer reviewing behaviour support plans.
Requirements- Completed degree qualification (or higher) in Psychology, Social Work, Developmental Education, Counselling or similar
- Experience mentoring behaviour support practitioners and peer reviewing behaviour support plans
- An in-depth understanding of good clinical practice, the jurisdictional requirements in your state and the context in which behaviour support is provided
- Understanding of the regulatory requirements as they apply to Behaviour Support
- Knowledge of contemporary practices and philosophies in relation to service provision for people with intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities
- Endorsement as a Proficient or Advanced Practitioner

The successful candidate will require a Right to Work in Australia, a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker's Screening Check, or the willingness to gain these clearances if successful.
