About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nuclear Engineering Expert to join our team at UNSW Australia. As a Senior Lecturer in Nuclear Science, you will be responsible for teaching and research in nuclear engineering, particularly in nuclear thermal hydraulics, multi-physics modeling, and nuclear engineering design.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver new content in nuclear engineering, integrating key aspects of the discipline into a signature capstone education experience for small to medium-sized classes of nuclear engineering students.
- Proactively keep up to date with discipline knowledge and developments, and apply this knowledge to teaching and research.
- Teach and learn design using a range of pedagogical approaches, and develop and deliver courses and programs at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Implement educational technologies and online delivery methods, and evidence teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence.
- Support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds, and contribute to student equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Develop and lead research with outcomes of high quality and high impact, and demonstrate the ability to continually achieve research excellence and research leadership.
