Offender Rehabilitation Specialist

This role is a key part of our offender rehabilitation and community safety strategy.
- We are looking for an experienced Offender Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, the ability to work with diverse communities, and a commitment to improving outcomes for offenders.
- To supervise individuals under conditions and develop and implement rehabilitative strategies that meet their needs.
- To monitor progress toward goals and conduct home visits to ensure compliance.
- To contribute to better outcomes for diverse communities, with emphasis on Aboriginal and CALD communities.
- Understanding of the NSW criminal justice system and case management skills.
- Commitment to strengthening relationships between Community Corrections and local service providers and the Aboriginal community to improve service delivery and outcomes.
- Strong values and behaviours with a focus on community safety.
- Excellent communication skills, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Sr. Offender Rehabilitation Specialist
- Team Lead or Manager
- Specialist roles in programs, training, or investigations
This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the community and contribute to safer communities through justice and rehabilitation.
Additonal Information:- A talent pool may be created for future ongoing and temporary roles and is valid for up to 18 months.
