Job Description

We are seeking a professional to fill the position of Career Rehabilitation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients who require assistance in navigating complex career goals and circumstances.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver assessments and counseling services to help individuals identify their new career path. You will also collaborate with healthcare professionals, employers, insurers, and other stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.

In this role, you will conduct thorough assessments to guide clients towards their new career aspirations. This may involve developing graduated return plans through liaison with doctors regarding appropriate timeframes.

You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by empowering them to take control of their careers and advocate for recovery and return to work.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver assessments and counseling services to support clients in achieving their career goals
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients
  • Develop graduated return plans to support clients' transition back to work
  • Conduct thorough assessments to guide clients towards their new career aspirations
RequirementsQualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology
  • Registration with AHPRA or ASORC

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Able to develop effective relationships with clients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
