Lead Technical DesignerAbout the Role:

The Lead Technical Designer is responsible for specifying solution architectures to meet complex business needs, considering technical and commercial implications of the solution.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop solution architectures that align with business objectives
  • Cover all aspects of solution design, including setting context, defining components, implementation, and information perspectives
  • Ensure security and resilience are appropriate
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions meet all requirements and are well understood by relevant parties
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, guiding technical teams towards architecturally sound decision-making
  • Employ an agile mindset and collaborative approach in delivering organizational outcomes
  • Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, establishing and nurturing networks by valuing individual differences and diversity
  • Respond proactively to feedback, willing to develop and apply new skills while adapting to changing demands
  • Engage professionally with risk and challenge the status quo to facilitate achievement of strategic outcomes
  • Align technical decisions with broader business strategies
Requirements:
  • Hold, or have the ability to gain and maintain, a Baseline security clearance
  • 2+ years of experience with solution architecture and/or experience in the design & delivery of complex systems in an enterprise environment
  • Ability to explain or translate complex findings to a range of business and technical stakeholders
  • Communication, negotiation, and liaison skills of a high order
