Senior HSE Specialist Opportunity

This position involves leading internal audits, risk reviews, and continuous improvement projects. Coaching team leaders and contractors on safety, compliance, and environmental responsibilities is also a key aspect of the role.

  • Leading internal audits, risk reviews, and continuous improvement projects
  • Coaching team leaders and contractors on safety, compliance, and ESG responsibilities
  • Delivering toolbox talks, inductions, and capability-building workshops
  • Running site verifications, incident investigations, and closing out actions

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience of HSE ideally within construction, with solid knowledge of ISO compliance and WHS, environmental, and quality standards. They will be confident leading audits, improving systems, and embedding practical, lasting change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing HSE strategies
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting metrics
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
  • Identifying and mitigating risks

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in HSE within construction
  • Solid knowledge of ISO compliance and WHS, environmental, and quality standards
  • Strong communication, planning instincts, and integrity
  • Credentials like Lead Auditor, ICAM, Cert IV TAE, or tertiary qualifications are desirable but not essential
