Job Overview:

The Debt Recovery Specialist is responsible for the timely and effective collection of debts from customers. This role involves strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage debtor accounts and maintain accurate records of customer transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage debt recovery processes, including phone calls, emails, and letters to ensure timely payments.
  • Perform credit checks and assess the creditworthiness of new customers to minimize bad debt risks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer communications and transactions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve debt collection rates and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

About the Role:

This is a full-time on-site position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a high level of attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in debt collection, credit management, or a related field.
