Support Worker Role

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate individual to join our team as a support worker. As a Support Worker, you will provide personal care, mobility assistance, and help with daily household tasks for our clients.

You will also provide social support and encouragement to participate in community and wellness activities, and safe transportation to appointments and social outings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care, mobility assistance, and help with daily household tasks.
  • Providing social support and encouragement to participate in community and wellness activities.
  • Safe transportation to appointments and social outings.
  • Regular updates to your Team Leader on client needs and progress.

Desired skills and experience include:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Community Services.
  • Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Services.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday between 8am and 1pm.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting older people with empathy and respect.
  • A current Driver's License and reliable comprehensively insured vehicle suitable to transport elderly clients.
  • A current satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current First Aid & CPR.
  • COVID 19 vaccination and influenza vaccination encouraged.
