As an Operations Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of municipal and community services, ensuring operational excellence and fostering community connections.

About the Role

This hands-on leadership role requires adaptability, resilience, and a commitment to creating positive impact in diverse settings. You will oversee the delivery of waste management, community events, and night patrols, while mentoring and developing a diverse team to foster professional growth and strong workplace culture.

The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about community development and operational excellence, with experience in either operations and/or municipal services. They should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively in cross-cultural environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of municipal and community services, including waste management, community events, and night patrols.
  • Mentor and develop a diverse team, fostering professional growth and strong workplace culture.
  • Build partnerships with local schools, health clinics, and other organisations to enhance community outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and manage financial budgets effectively.
  • Promote environmental sustainability and adhere to best practices.

  • Leadership experience in either operations and/or municipal services.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively in cross-cultural environments.
  • Practical skills in stakeholder management and relationship building.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience mentoring and motivating diverse teams.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package of $120,000 per annum, plus fully furnished accommodation and generous additional annual payments for travel and locality allowances. You will also receive above-average annual leave entitlements of 6 weeks per year and opportunities for both professional and personal development.
