About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Mondelēz International as an Inventory Management Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and controlling warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management and cost-effective delivery of shipment volume objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement warehouse operations plans to ensure efficient inventory management and cost-effective delivery of shipment volume objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage receipt, issue, and disposal of raw and packaging materials and finished goods inventories in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver inventory accuracy objectives and ensure operational requirements are consistently applied while complying with all boundaries and requirements.
  • Provide appropriate and properly maintained materials handling and movement equipment and facility to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Lead optimum utilization of warehouse space and conduct warehouse capacity plan reviews on a regular basis.
  • Ensure storage and handling of all materials and finished goods adhere to standard palletizing, stacking, and storage requirements.
  • Manage and control the replenishment of stock at distributors' warehouses and analyze inventory movements to ensure inventory levels in the supply chain are at manageable levels.
  • Develop and implement overhead budgets to define cost boundaries for an efficient warehouse operation and ensure cost targets are met via efficient utilization of equipment, workforce, and utilities.
  • Monitor and control materials wastage and variance to generate productivity savings.
  • Be accountable for strong governance and compliance requirements, including warehouse audits, ISO, FSSC, and quality management system audits.
  • Be a champion to meet and/or exceed safety and quality requirements and drive ownership among teams.
  • Be accountable for talent, capabilities, and engagement for the team and responsible for identifying and implementing critical levers to attract, retain, and develop critical talent and build capability at all levels.
Requirements
  • Relevant work experience in warehouse and/or production operations, inventory management, and handling material movement equipment.
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience in ERP (SAP) systems.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), analytical and problem-solving skills, strong collaboration and relationship management skills.
  • The capability to work as a team leader, developing and aligning goal/master plan for the team, deploying and managing IDP-individual development plan for the members, coaching team members on their performance management and career development.
