Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Inventory Specialist to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) group, you will play a critical role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for our online services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cycle audits, execute incoming/outgoing deliveries, and coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors.
  • Document inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory tracking.
  • Reconcile and report inventory discrepancies, and notify management about ordering stock shortages.
  • Perform destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Microsoft policies.
  • Comply with security and data management policies, and embody our culture and values.
About the Role

This opportunity will allow you to deepen your knowledge of inventory management principles, warranty process management, and data bearing device destruction. You will work closely with our team of subject matter experts to support services for over 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses worldwide.
