About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort. As an integral part of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a dynamic kitchen team to deliver outstanding results
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase Modern Australian cuisine
  • Ensure adherence to HACCP and OH&S protocols
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to achieve business objectives
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant Certificate III in cookery qualifications and previous experience as a senior chef
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Modern Australian cuisine and menu development
  • Familiarity with HACCP and OH&S principles
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
