Accounts Payable Manager

MARS Recruitment is partnering with an Australian organisation to find an experienced Accounts Payable Manager. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to oversee the Accounts Payable function.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise routine department tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion across various projects and companies.
- Ensure transactions adhere to internal policies and procedures.
- Review and verify employee expenses.
- Monitor bank accounts, credit cards, intercompany transactions, and supplier reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end tasks, including accruals, prepayments, and reviewing all bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Process and review payment runs and upload them onto various banking platforms.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience at Accounts Payable Manager level.
- Experience managing an offshore team (desirable).
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proficient with MS Excel and ERP systems - Xero and Quick Books (desirable).
- Experience in a hands-on role with high levels of attention to detail.
