Key Responsibilities
  • Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile petty cash and credit card statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Match purchase orders to invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
  • Process foreign currency payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Raise any anomalies or discrepancies with the Company Accountant.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, inquisitive nature.
  • Tertiary background in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with foreign currency and MYOB or XERO accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
