Urban Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Urban Planner to join our property development team. As an integral member of our project team, you will play a key role in shaping urban communities across the ACT and surrounding regions.

Our company has a strong reputation for developing thriving, sustainable communities across Australia's Eastern Capital Cities and surrounding regions. With over 30 years of experience, we have developed over 18,000 homes and serviced lots, and continue to grow and evolve.

  • You will assist in the preparation and coordination of planning documentation, ensuring that all projects meet the required standards.
  • As part of our collaborative team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives, including advising project managers and senior management on relevant urban design matters.
  • One of your key responsibilities will be to prepare and contribute to the development of design solutions for project urban design outcomes, including product design and streetscapes.
  • Additionally, you will assist in the development of strategies, guidelines, policies, and initiatives to support the delivery of high-quality urban outcomes.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in urban design or a related field is essential.
  • Proficiency in a variety of design drafting software through professional experience is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A sound understanding of design documentation is also important.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex approval processes and build effective relationships with authorities is desirable.
