About the Role

This key position plays a vital role in supporting policy and project management across the organisation, contributing to the implementation of various projects and initiatives, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet project objectives.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality project documentation, including Project Management Plans, status reports, and briefings, for a range of audiences.
  • Analyse and interpret recommendations from inquiries and legal policies to provide strategic policy advice to stakeholders.
  • Organise project-related meetings and workshops, and develop lessons learned tools and processes.
  • Support organisational improvement through policy project development and implementation.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging issues and opportunities in policy reform and emergency management.

To succeed in this role, you will be a customer-focused critical thinker with excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and detailed documents, reports, and correspondence for senior stakeholders.
  • Analyse data and provide strategic policy advice to stakeholders.
  • Understand the project lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Experience in policy or project work within the public sector is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
